I have to say apart from asking the date of CD1 there has been little interest taken in me either - which I'm not pushing for as I would have to pay for everything - but it would be nice for someone to take a little interest. They haven't even advised me to take a pregnancy test before starting downregs (not that it will be positive) but that would seem to be a basic thing to say. And I don't think it's the NHS - at my grand old age we are going private! x
Hope4babyover40http://www.pregnantinmyforties.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3761683084567008890.post-72955382610699162472014-08-16T17:46:28.500+01:002014-08-16T17:46:28.500+01:00Oh, the comment-eating internets!!! Thanks for having the patience to write again!

I was a bit surprised by not having a scan prior to starting the injections (to check for cysts etc), too, but then again, I've gotten to the point where nothing really surprises me with the NHS. I started injections on the eve of CD2 and then had second injection on the morn of CD4 and then this morning which was CD6 and will have one final on CD8 morning, which is also the day of the first scan.

I'm hoping that the oddity is due to us being on different meds, but it could equally be because the NHS is so often so rubbish. So far so good, though and as said I haven't got any alarming symptoms - just hope this stuff is doing something in the good old ovaries.

I suppose I'll know on Monday latest.. xxHaislahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00447101581192623859noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3761683084567008890.post-6666849545617564182014-08-16T13:38:52.994+01:002014-08-16T13:38:52.994+01:00I had a long comment written out and then it disap...I had a long comment written out and then it disappeared! Grrr

Every woman is different and I'm sure different RE's handle things differently but something feels out of order (in the literal sense, not like when my husband tells someone "You're bang out of order, mate!").
You started your period on Monday 8/11? (coincidentally, me too).
Did you get a scan done before you started the injections? What CD did you start injections?

I'm not an expert obviously and I'm not on the same medication as you so that could be part of why things seem odd to me.
RHMummyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11288679777324292266noreply@blogger.com
